For over twenty years, Ballet Florida was at the very core of the Performing Arts world of the vibrant City of West Palm Beach.  As an ambassador for the city, the Company embraced a truly global attitude, drawing talent from around the world for both its dancers and creative staff. Blazing new trails and never afraid of a challenge, Ballet Florida brought the very best of dance to its audiences, from the most classical of ballets up to cutting-edge avant garde works from some of the brightest talents making dances in the modern world.

Ever since the tragic demise of the Company in 2009, barely a week goes by without somebody online lamenting its loss. Patrons will remember outstanding programming, and the beautiful dancers from all over the world who called Palm Beach County their home.

This website seeks to serve as a reminder that once upon a time in West Palm Beach, a brave woman took audiences on a journey into the future!
